As a small studio based practice, Robinson Architecture is able to focus on the one on one relationship between the architect and client. The design process is a constructive collaboration between the architect and client, with input from sub-consultants such as engineer, building surveyor and landscape designer. This team approach continues throughout the construction stage: we feel positive working relationships between the architect, builder and tradesmen produce the best buildings.
Building budgets and timelines are taken seriously as a core component of the project delivery, and are reviewed regularly throughout the journey from design conception to building completion.
Exploration of sustainable opportunities is integral to the design process with suitable solutions always incorporated in the finished building. We feel that environmentally aware architecture is for the user; sustainably designed buildings are far more comfortable and healthier to inhabit. An added advantage is that these buildings have lower energy use and are less expensive to maintain.
